2018 Survey Summary (survey report below):
  • Abundant tree types:
    • Sycamore,
    • Hawthorne,
    • Ash,
    • Hazel
  • Ash trees appear healthy and not suffering from the ‘Ash Dieback Disease’, yet. 
  • Elm saplings in one location, these are unlikely to grow to mature size because of ‘Dutch Elm Disease’
  • Unusual tree: Goat Willow in the garden of 32, Back Lane, Darshill
  • Crack Willow on Darshill Millpond Site, as expected on this wetland
